Lib-Dem call for action

The last 18 months has seen governments becoming increasing power-hungry and authoritarian, while the majority of the public follows along out of fear. What can we do in response? Here are a couple of ideas:

  1. Sign the petition! The Liberal Democrats have launched a petition calling on the government to set a date this year to end all lockdowns, open the country, and return to the “old normal”. Please sign, and more importantly, also share: www.ldp.org.au/freedomday
  2. Stand as a candidate in the upcoming federal election. If you are interested in being a candidate for the Liberal Democrats, send us an expression of interest here: https://www.ldp.org.au/candidate
  3. Work for LDP head office. The Liberal Democrats office is looking for a couple of hardworking people to join the team. In particular, we are looking for people who can help with membership engagement, events management, fundraising, and general administration. If you are interested, or you know somebody who would be perfect, please contact Rob Cribb to discuss further: rob.cribb@ldp.org.au
  4. Upgrade your membership. If you are an associate member, please consider upgrading to being a financial member. If you are already a financial member, please consider adding a small monthly donation to the party to help us keep the lights on. Every little bit helps. You can see membership and donation options here: www.ldp.org.au/membership

Our country is heading in the wrong direction… towards bigger government and more state control. The Liberal Democrats are needed now more than ever, and this is a crucial opportunity for us to provide an alternative to the stale mediocrity of the major parties. We need your help.
